bio

makeup and styling has always given me the joy of combining two of my greatest passions- expressing myself through art and helping others shine.

In 2010 I married the most wonderful guy ever...my best friend.  We live happily in Taylorsville, KY with our two dogs, Lucy and Peanut.

Behind the scenes

...love what I do!!

In 1998, I got my start with Estee Lauder- the great pioneer of makeup. After one year there, I was in love with makeup and hooked on the artistry aspect.  I then went on to help open the first MAC Cosmetics counter at Macy's in Lexington, KY.  After two years with MAC, in 2001, I ventured out and begin my Freelancing Career, which ultimately lead me to LA.  I have enjoyed it thoroughly and I give ALL thanks to God for the many blessings along my way and the tremendous amount of success that I continue to have...

10% of all profit is given back with a cheerful heart.

Like most little girls, I was high energy and just loved to play dress-up.  I was about 8 going on 16 when I came upon my first tube of lipstick...and I was in love!!  It was mood lipstick and it was the ugliest shade of green that you could imagine, nonetheless, when I put it on, it always turned into the brightest shade of fuchsia…a color so intense that it had to represent a good mood!  I never seemed to get to wear it too long, because as soon as my Dad would see it, he would say something like, “Young lady, get that awful lipstick off your face…” …just like most Daddy’s would. :)

I’m in my mid 30’s now and through the years my love for makeup has grown into a passion.  I occasionally still pull out a bright fuchsia lip color and wear it with pink pride!  That is, as long as I’m not visiting my dear parents.

I’m from a small but lovely town in central Kentucky and I hold tight to my roots but I’ve always had an appreciation for art responsible for the glitz and glamour of city life and an appreciation for the depth of fashion in various cultures.  I’ve been blessed to travel many places throughout the US, Virgin Islands, the Carribean, Mexico and Europe.  I also spent a couple of years in Los Angeles, CA.  My constant observations of fashion and art combined with my unparalleled experiences continue to influence and fuel my love for creativity.

I look forward to continuing to grow and to help others artists expand on their God given creative talents.

In the spotlight

I typically stay behind the scenes, but on occasion, I’ve slipped into the limelight.

While in LA, I ventured out on one audition and landed the role as "Miss Torque" for a national digital television network, known as Torque TV.  Below are some photos and the press release.
